Introduction to Surya Namaskar A (Sun Salutation A)
This class introduces foundational yoga postures found in Surya Namaskar A (Sun Salutation A). These postures include:
Tadasana (Mountain Pose)
Urdhva Hastasana (Upward Hands Pose)
Uttanasana (Standing Forward Fold Pose) *Correction: NOT ‘Intense Stretch of the West’ as I stated in the video. That is the English name of a different posture (Paschimottanasana) :)
Adho Mukha Svanasana (Downward Facing Dog Pose)
Urdhva Mukha Svanasana (Upward Facing Dog Pose) Tucked toes variation
Balasana (Child’s Pose)
